A Message from Mr Salisbury
Dear Parents, Whānau, and Friends,
Our students have settled in well and there is plenty of wonderful learning happening. It is great to see them enjoying our refreshed learning environments. I am impressed with the number of opportunities that are available for our students. What a busy start to 2025. I want to thank our staff for all the extra they do for our children. They truly go above and beyond what is expected of them to give our children the very best. The early mornings, staying late after work or going without lunch to train sports teams, Kapahaka and swimmers to name a few is all worth it when we see our childrens’ smiles and achievements at such high levels. Thanks team!!
You as a parent/caregiver play a very important role in the education of your child. Your enthusiasm about education and your interest in your child’s progress is crucial to how well they do at school. We need you also to support your child’s teacher and that is why we place such a great emphasis on interview sessions such as the upcoming Meet the Teacher and Goal Setting evenings. It is important that we can build a relationship and set expectations around learning. So please book in now for this important event below.

I have an open door policy which means as much as possible, I will see any parent without an appointment. However, there may be times when an appointment is required. There are also times where you may have a question or concern we would like to know about these so that we can improve our service. In the first instance please see your child’s teacher as they are the one most closely associated with your child. If your question is not answered or concern not resolved, then talk to the Team Leader of the area, currently Mrs Beere in Tane Mahuta (Junior School) or Mrs Naidoo in Tawhirimatea (Senior School). If it still has not been resolved satisfactorily, you can then make an appointment with Mrs Beere or myself.
Ngā mihi,
Mr Salisbury
