A Message from Mr Salisbury
Kia ora Parents, Whānau, and Friends,
As we head into the last 4 weeks of term, it's wonderful to see our students' achievements. Our students represented us brilliantly at both the School and River Zone Athletics on Monday. Best of luck to those who have made it into the Franklin Zone team and will be competing at the Franklin Athletics next week! Congratulations also to our Jump Jam team, who performed exceptionally well at the Regionals in Tauranga last weekend. Well done to our students who sat the ICAS Assessments. We are proud of your efforts and your results show us you are working very hard with your learning.
With only 20 school days left in the year, we have an action-packed schedule ahead! Highlights include Book Week, Grandparents Day, the Year 6 Graduation Dinner, Kirsty Sports, swimming sessions, the HSC Christmas Parade, classroom renovations, 2025 planning meetings, class celebrations and transitions, Life Education, Fire Safety Day, School Reports, and our Prize Giving Assembly. Please check our new school calendar on our website to ensure you are up to date with coming events. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time and energy and to our teachers who have been working very hard to ensure your child receives the very best– your support truly makes these events possible.
Excitement is also in the air with the opening of our school pool this week, thanks to Karen Biggs and her incredible efforts. The pool will be open every day until the end of the year, so please ensure your child brings a named swim bag, towel, and togs to school each day. Students also need to have their green, wide brim school hat with them everyday.
